Adrian Vincent “Ace” Cunningham Sr., 67, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died Monday evening, February 9, 2015, at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born March 10, 1947, in Wellsville, OH, a son of the late Claire and Genevieve (Rohrbaugh) Cunningham. Ace retired from the Homer Laughlin Co., Newell, WV, where he had worked as a millwright, and also had worked as a laborer for Greene Twp. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. An awesome Pappy, he enjoyed time with his grandchildren and family. He was a generous giver and dedicated worker. He and his wife Denise took pride in giving from “Ace’s Mall.” He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. Continue reading

Joy Lynn Nola (Wells) “Jo”, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 6, 2015, at the age of 39. Joy was a lifelong resident of Ohioville Borough, PA where she lived in her childhood home with her husband Michael Nola II, their beautiful little boy, Michael Stephen Nola III (Mikey) 4, and her stepson Jacob Michael Mallinder (Jake), 19.
Joy was born in Aliquippa, PA on August 27, 1975 to Jerry and Linda Wells. Joy is sister to Jeffrey Wells, Lori Coukart, and Dr. Hope Moser; aunt to Katrina Lynn Nola, 23; Ashante Alana Nola Harris, 18; Molly Moser, 17; Cassady Coukart, 16; Macey Moser, 13; McKenna Coukart, 13; and her nephews; Ethan Wells, 12; Evan Wells, 10, and Alexander Kane Nola Freeman, 5. Born December 23, 1939, in East Liverpool, OH, a daughter of the late Edward and Jessie (Crow) Wilkinson, Midge had worked with the Stop-N-Go store chains, retiring from the Stop-N-Go Center Twp. store. Raymond C. Senile, 91, of Georgetown (Hanover Twp.), passed peacefully Monday evening, December 15, 2014, at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver, with family at his side.
Born February 13, 1923, he was the last surviving child born to the late Romeo and Phoebe (Young) Senile. He worked as an electrician at Weirton’s Steel diesel shop, and after retiring from there, he went to work for Larch Heating, also of Weirton. He was a member of the Christian Church of New Cumberland, WV. A veteran of World War II, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the Destroyer Escort USS Varian. Continue reading
