Joseph N. Grandstaff – formerly of Hankey Farms
Joseph N. Grandstaff, formerly of Hankey Farms, Pa., died peacefully in his sleep Sunday morning, October 19, 2025, at his Johnstown residence. He was 68.
Born July 19, 1957, in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Emily A. (Palumbo) Grandstaff. As a youth, Joe was an accomplished swimmer and diver. One of his many talents was riding a unicycle, a skill that showcased his fierce concentration and balance. He was an avid bowler and belonged to several leagues in Dormont. His favorite pastimes were spending time with his brothers, playing music, camping, and watching Pittsburgh sports — he lived and breathed the Panthers, Pirates, and Penguins, with a special love for the Steelers. Norma Russell
Norma Russell, born December 14, 1956 in Sewickley, PA passed away October 18, 2025. Norma was daughter to the late Virgil and Rose (Dequasie) Russell.
Norma was devoted sister, cherished aunt and loyal best friend. She loved her family unconditionally and found joy spending time with them, always making each one feel special and deeply loved. Normal loved to travel, dance, sing, bake cookies, and celebrate holidays with her loved ones. Marian “Mitzi” Margaret Hutchison – Georgetown
Marian “Mitzi” Margaret Hutchison, 92, of Georgetown, PA, passed away at Lakeview Personal Care Home on Oct. 08, 2025.
Born on February 20, 1933, Mitzi was the daughter of William and Helen (Smith) Oyster. She enjoyed gardening, decorating wedding cakes, oil painting, singing in the church choir, and volunteering for the children’s ministry at church. Continue reading
Theodore J. Warnock – Wellsville, Ohio
Theodore J. Warnock, 65 of Wellsville, Ohio passed unexpectedly Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Heritage Valley Beaver. He was born September 11, 1960 in New Castle, a son of William H. and the late Virginia Warnock. Ted was an active member of the Christian Assembly Church in Industry. He loved Jesus, his family and his church family, most of all being a pap. He had worked as a Control Room Operator with the W.H. Sammis Plant in Stratton, Ohio. Continue reading
Dale G. Bonner – Hookstown (Frankfort Springs Boro)
Dale G. Bonner, 74 of Hookstown (Frankfort Springs Boro) passed peacefully Sunday afternoon, October 5, 2025 after a lengthy illness with his family at his side at North Hills Passavant Hospital. Born May 20, 1951 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late James R. & Mildred (Steiner) Bonner. Dale had worked in the maintenance industry for over 20 years. He was a member of Air Heritage Aviation Museum, he loved tinkering, learning and fixing things, he enjoyed planes and boating and had a love for veterans.
