Daniel T. Lenau, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died Sunday morning, November 20, 2016, in the comfort of his home with his wife at his side.

Born October 23, 1948, in St. Louis, Mo., a son of the late Edgar J. and Ruth Otto (Yung) Lenau, Daniel had worked as a project manager at Matthews International. He had received an associate degree in mechanical engineering, and was a member of the Elks and A.O.P.A. Continue reading →

William B. Gordon died Thursday, November 3, 2016.

Born October 8, 1931, in Rochester, Pa., the son of the late Charles Hampton and Lilian (Issac) Gordon. He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by brothers, Donald and Conway.

He was the Director of Fire and Safety at The Medical Center, Beaver, retiring in 1992 and was the long time Fire Chief of the Brighton Twp. Vol. Fire Department serving from 1965 until he “retired” in 1992. He was a veteran of the PA National Guard and the U.S. Army. Continue reading →
