Shirley Ann May, 82, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died Wednesday afternoon, February 14, 2018, at Heritage Valley Beaver.
Born December 11, 1935, in Eldersville, Pa., a daughter of the late Floyd Leroy and Anna (Fotovich) Riddile, she worked as a waitress at the Pittsburgh Airport for over 20 years. She was a member of Mill Creek Hill Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Hookstown and a member of Life Beaver. Continue reading
Arthur Leroy Hill – Hookstown (Greene Township)
Arthur Leroy Hill, 76, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died Sunday evening, February 11, 2018, with family at his side at the Brighton Rehab & Wellness Center.
Born October 19, 1941, in Monaca, he was a son of the late Arthur Thomas and Viola (Waxler) Hill. He had worked in the maintenance department of the parking centers at Pittsburgh International Airport. He also had attended a one-room schoolhouse in the Beaver County area. Continue reading

Kurt R. Eaton, 61, of Clinton (Independence Twp.) died unexpectedly on Thursday morning, February 8, 2018, at his Clinton residence.
Born April 3, 1956, in Weirton, W.Va., he was a son of the late Richard L. and Betty (Mercer) Eaton. Kurt was also preceded in death by his brothers, Mark and Dean Eaton, and a sister, Joyce Eaton. Continue reading

Franklin Dale Rice, 79, of Hookstown (Hanover Twp.), died suddenly Sunday morning, February 4, 2018, at Alliance Health, Clinton, Okla.
Born August 9, 1938, in Charleston, W.Va., he was a son of the late John and Ruby (Gould) Rice. A carpenter by trade, he was very talented in woodworking and had a passion for gardening. No one ever left his house without a bag filled with something he grew in his garden or something he handmade. Continue reading
