Kate Adams – Georgetown

Kate Adams (Welch), 51, passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2026, surrounded by family after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Kate was the loving wife of James Adams; mother of Sophia and Jim; daughter of Gary and Sandy Welch; daughter in-law of James and Martha Adams; sister of Kelly (Dave) Trimble and Jay (Angie) Welch; aunt of Jake (Lianne), Colten (Rachel), Bryce and Caden; and great aunt to many.

Those close to Kate will remember how much she appreciated the simple things in life. She enjoyed her weekends at their camp, visiting Lake Erie, and sitting on her porch swing with her dog Duke. She will be remembered for her loving, kind, and generous personality as well as her bright, infectious smile. Kate’s unwavering love for her family was evident through life, and she fought until the very end for them.

Per Kate’s wishes there will not be traditional services, but instead a private celebration of life.
