Charles Joseph LaRue III ‘Charlie’ – Hookstown
Charles Joseph LaRue III ‘Charlie’ 73 of Hookstown passed peacefully Friday morning, May 29, 2026 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Charlie was born on March 3, 1953 in McKees Rocks, the first born of Charles J. II & Mary “Melvin” LaRue. Charlie had worked as an industrial painter before retiring. He enjoyed riding his Harley, watching old television shows and was an avid animal lover, rescuing numerous cats, dogs and any other creature that needed help.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Collins & Brandi DeLucey, brothers William, Richard & Gregory LaRue & sisters Barbara Frazier & Shirley Yeager. Grandfather of 6, Nadiya Wahl, Raven Taylor, Chancelor Wahl, Alexa, Wyatt & Logan DeLucey. Also are numerous nieces & nephews.
As was Charlie’s request, cremation will take place with no immediate funeral service. The family will hold a private celebration of life in September. Memorials in his name can be made to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Rd., Aliquippa, PA. 15001.
