Dale G. Bonner – Hookstown (Frankfort Springs Boro)

Dale G. Bonner, 74 of Hookstown (Frankfort Springs Boro) passed peacefully Sunday afternoon, October 5, 2025 after a lengthy illness with his family at his side at North Hills Passavant Hospital. Born May 20, 1951 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late James R. & Mildred (Steiner) Bonner. Dale had worked in the maintenance industry for over 20 years. He was a member of Air Heritage Aviation Museum, he loved tinkering, learning and fixing things, he enjoyed planes and boating and had a love for veterans. His biggest passion was his family and spending time with them.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Joanne (Drapala) Bonner, his son and his wife Brian & Valerie Bonner, his sister & brother-in-law Linda & Larry Hubbard. Cherished grandfather of Zachary & Faith Bonner. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Robert Bonner.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where his service will be held Friday at 11 am, Rev. Wilmer J. Olszewski officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery; Georgetown.
