Betty Eva Call – ALIQUIPPA (SHIPPINGPORT BORO)

Betty Eva Call, 100, of Aliquippa (Shippingport Boro), died Tuesday morning, March 3, 2015, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

Born March 31, 1914, in Donora, PA. She had retired as a cook from the Monaca Inn, was an avid bingo player and was a member of the Shippingport Senior Citizens Group, enjoying their many bus trips together. She enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving is her son, Charles R. Call, Aliquippa and his late wife, Patricia A. Call. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Charles Call Jr., Jenny (Andy) Theodore, Tammy Call and Connie Call; 10 great-grandchildren, Alyssa Theodore, Dannisha Lacey, Dannison Lacey, Dannae Lacey, Steven Call, Shaun Call, Twyla Call, Javen Call, Deseray Call, and Destiny Call; three great-great-grandchildren, Sarenity Call, Skylar Call and Nallah Call.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director, Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. where a blessing service will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with Father Michael Yaksick of the Parish Family of St. Blaise, celebrating. She will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
