Lenora G. Ramsey – BURGETTSTOWN (HANOVER TWP.)

Lenora G. Ramsey, 92, of Burgettstown (Hanover Twp.) died Tuesday morning, March 17, 2015 at the Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.

Born November 11, 1922, in Wick, WV, she was the last surviving child born to the late Clyde Osborne and Anna Dell (Atkinson) Ash.  She had worked as a secretary at Raccoon State Park and was a willing workers member of the Frankfort Springs Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Ramsey; a brother, Harvey Atkinson and a sister, Flossie Kimble.

Surviving are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert J. (Janet) Ramsey, Burgettsown; Bruce L. Ramsey, Paris, PA and Howard N. Ramsey, Weirton, WV.  Also surviving are six grandchildren, Jerry, John, Crystal, Bruce, Michelle and Natali, and three great-grandchildren, Michael, Jerry Jr. and Vashti.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director, on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. only, where services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Rhodes officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
