Joseph “Dale” Brodmerkel, 55, of Imperial (Findlay Twp.), died Tuesday afternoon, March 15, 2016, in Allentown, PA.

Born May 29, 1960, in Sewickley, he was the beloved son of Joe T. and Dorothy E. (Brown) Brodmerkel of Frankfort Springs. He was a technical consultant with Stafford Cutting Dies of Charlotte, NC. He was a wrestling coach at South Side High School and was one of the group that started the youth wrestling team. He was on numerous softball teams, enjoyed car racing and was an avid golfer. Dorothea Evelyn (Crago) Keifer, 86, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.), died Saturday afternoon, March 12, 2016, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease at the Parkside Health Care Center, Columbiana, Ohio.

Born September 27, 1929, in New Cumberland, West Virginia, she was the last surviving child born to the late Charles Cooper and Esther (Wylie) Crago. A homemaker and avid quilter, Dorothea was also a member of the Community Bible Church, Aliquippa. Continue reading →

Donald E. Harshbarger, 65, of Aliquippa, (Greene Township), died Saturday evening, March 5, 2016, at the Kindred Hospital, Beaver.

Born July 1, 1950, in Sewickley, he was one of three sons born to the late Bill and Jean (McCoy) Harshbarger. He was the co-owner of Harshbargers Inc. Propane and Mobile Home Sales. Ronald C. Williams, 79, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died Wednesday afternoon, February 24, 2016, at Friendship Ridge, Brighton Twp.

Born June 15, 1936, in McKees Rocks, he was a son of the late William Bill and Kate (Wagegozki) Williams. He had worked as a high-lift operator for Gravel/Aggregate Company and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Patricia L. Robson, 78, of Shippingport, passed away Saturday morning, February 6, 2016, at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born in Rochester, PA, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Anna Mae (Hellman) Russell. A lifelong resident of Beaver County, Patty graduated from Lincoln High School in Midland. She was a member of the Green Valley United Methodist Church. A homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved to travel, especially to visit her children. Born May 22, 1961 in Weirton, WV, he was a son of the late Leo and Helen (Glass) Tingler. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and raising cattle on the family farm started by his parents; also where he was raised and passed away on. He was employed by Bayer Corp. He was born on January 28, 1928, in Trafford, PA. He was the eldest child of the late Ernest and Hilda (Vogel) Blosat; and predeceased by two sisters, Lois Shirey and Virginia Reuter.
