Joseph P. Lally, Jr. – Brighton Twp.

Joseph P. Lally, Jr., 88 of Brighton Twp. died Monday April 13, 2020, at Brighton Wellness & Rehabilitation Center. Born October 20, 1931 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late Joseph P. Laly, Sr. and Mary (O’Rourke) Lally. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a Sergeant during the Korean War. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will follow in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

Glenn E. Paullis – Georgetown (Hanover Township)

Glenn E. Paullis, 70, of Georgetown (Hanover Township), died Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born September 18, 1949, in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late William and Emely (Biel) Paullis, he was a Personnel Sergeant in the U.S. Military being a veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a sergeant first class. Continue reading

Ralph W. Heinlein Sr. – Aliquippa (Independence Twp.)

Ralph W. Heinlein Sr., 85, of Aliquippa (Independence Twp.), died Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

Born July 7, 1934, in Aliquippa, he was the last surviving child born to the late John F. and Vina Mae (Woodfield) Heinlein.

He was a retired mechanic, having worked in the heavy equipment industry. He was a very active member of the Mount Olivet EPC. He enjoyed farming and was a member of the Southside Senior Association and the Beaver Valley Antique Tractor Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Heinlein and a sister, Eva Grace Brunton. Continue reading

Donna Lee Kozarovich – Clinton (Hanover Twp.)

Donna Lee Kozarovich, 58, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.), died Monday afternoon, April 6, 2020, at the Brighton Wellness & Rehabilitation Center, Beaver.

Born October 15, 1961, in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was the daughter of Samuel Black of Clinton and the late Jean Rice Black.

Donna was a 1979 graduate of South Side High School; she received her Bachelor’s in accounting from the University of Phoenix in 2004 and her Masters in Business administration from Waldon University in 2007. She was a member of the Community Bible Church, Aliquippa. Continue reading

Michael Timothy Kutsenkow – Hanover Township

Michael Timothy Kutsenkow, age 67, better known to his family and friends as Tim, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at his home in Hanover Township with his loving wife, Kathy, by his side.

He was the son of esteemed family doctor Michael Kutsenkow and Rose Lorraine Ellis, who, along with his sister Terry Kutsenkow, predeceased him.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Kutsenkow; his son, Steven Kutsenkow; his daughter, Andrea Kutsenkow; four children by marriage, Heather Smith, Suzanne “Suzi” Milbee, Alicia Doro, and Michael Doro; his sister, Deborah “Debbie” Nicholson; his brother, Jack Kutsenkow; his nephew, Joseph Kutsenkow; and eight beautiful grandchildren, Trystan Lewis, Colton Wilson, Keana Beckemeyer, Jacob McGuire, Gage Milbee, Lily Waxler, Michael Kutsenkow and Lacey Kutsenkow, whom he loved unconditionally. H. Dwayne Adams, 81, of Greene Township, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 28, 2020.

Born March 12, 1939, in Elkmont, Alabama, he was the son of the late Edward Joseph and Bessie Louise Webster Adams.

Surviving him is his beloved wife of 57 years, Carol Darlene Jones Adams. Together they parented two sons and a daughter, the eldest, Patrick, married to Beth Adams of Greene Township; Bradley and his wife, Danita Adams, of Southaven, Miss.; the youngest, a daughter, Sonya Adams of Los Angeles, Calif.; grandson, Joshua Adams, of Greene Township and a granddaughter, Hailey Estes of Southaven Miss. James F. Mack, 88, of Georgetown (Hanover Twp.), died Sunday, March 22, 2020, at the H.J. Heinz Community Living Center Aspinwall.

Born December 27, 1931, in New Cumberland W.Va., he was a son of the late James G. and Jane.

Leon G. McElhaney Jr. – Hookstown

Leon G. McElhaney Jr., 75, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died unexpectedly Thursday, March 12, 2020, at his Hookstown residence.

Born July 5, 1944, in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was a son of the late Leon G. Sr. and Harriet (Korzen) McElhaney. A Veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served during the Vietnam War. He worked as a heavy equipment operator and was an avid and proud farmer, raising beef cattle. He loved his family immensely spending time with all of them was a great joy for him. Robert W. Price, 75, of Clinton, Hanover Township, died unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, March 3, 2020, in the ER at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born August 1, 1944, in Aliquippa, he was the son of the late Woodrow and Thelma (Roberts) Price. He was a retired millwright having worked at LTV Steel Aliquippa.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Carole S. (McGinnis) Price on July 6, 2018; three brothers, Chuck, Red and Bill Price; a sister, Brenda Anderson; two brothers-in-law, Paul Wilcoxen and Mike Baker and a sister-in-law, Darlene Price. Continue reading
