Nancy Yurcina, 72, of Aliquippa (Raccoon Twp.) passed peacefully Friday afternoon July 9, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice; Beaver. Born September 21, 1948, in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Leland and Edith (Leister) Floyd, also preceding her in death was her step mother Norma Floyd. Her late brothers are Richard, Thomas, James, Bill, Jay, Timothy and Pete Floyd.Surviving are her husband John “Jack” Yurcina, her daughter Angela Short of Beaver, and her son and daughter-in-law Jamie and Brandi Yurcina of Hopewell. Donna L. Brown, 80, of Hookstown (Hanover TWP.) passed peacefully Friday morning July 2, 2021, in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love of her family.
Born October 20, 1940, in Replete, W.V., she was a daughter of the late Cecil J. and Vada P. (Crowe) Gibson. A domestic engineer all her life, she also belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hanover VFD where she was also a volunteer firefighter and a first responder for Hanover ambulance service. She enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter, she especially enjoyed the time spent with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Bacil R. Brown on November 4, 2018, two brothers Ton and John Gibson and two sisters June McCoy and Opal Beer. Continue reading

Murle Gene Goodwin, 87, of Industry, passed peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family on Saturday afternoon June 12, 2021. Born October 22, 1933, in Buckhannon, W.V., he was a son of the late Coleman and Mary (Miller) Goodwin. Murle was a retired truck driver.

Rick had worked as a laborer in the construction industry with a labor union, a member of the Beaver Valley Antique Association, he enjoyed running an 1887 stationary Ohio hay press with his son Brandon Lee, and loved riding his motor cycle, hunting and fishing and watching NASCAR.
Rick was predeceased by his beloved wife JoyceAnn Marie (Belich) Mihalik on May 8, 2018, and his inlaws Frank Andrew and Ann Marie (Dutkovich) Belich. Continue reading
