Raymond S. Poland – Georgetown (Hanover Twp.)

Raymond S. Poland, 76 of Georgetown (Hanover Twp.) passed unexpectedly Sunday evening, June 2, 2024 at Brighton Wellness and Rehabilitation Center, Beaver. Born June 5, 1947 in Lonaconing, Maryland, he was a son of the late Raymond S. and Evelyn A. (Shockey) Poland. Ray had worked as a steel worker with J&L Aliquippa Works before retiring. He enjoyed riding his motor cycle and hunting, but most of all, spending time with his family on the weekends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by 2 sons, Raymond S. Poland and James E. Poland and a brother, Gary Poland.

Surviving is a son, Shaun Poland and a daughter Sheena Poland, brothers Robert Poland and Barry and his wife Wanda Poland and his sisters Cindy and her late husband Tom Spiker and Lynn and her husband Charles Muir. Also, his former wife Nancy Fargel and his 4 grandchildren and his fur babies Jake and Snoopy.
