Marian L. Chaney – New Cumberland,W.V.

Marian L. Chaney, 93 of New Cumberland, W.V. (formerly of the Georgetown area) passed Wednesday morning, November 5, 2025 at the Weirton Geriatric Center. Born December 16, 1931 in Georgetown, she was the daughter of the late Robert & Alice (Pinney) Conkle. Marian had retired from the Bayer Corp. in Robinson twp as a receptionist. She was an avid square dancer and a lover of the outdoors…horseback riding and working on the farm.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Chaney on July 14, 2015 and her brother Roy H. Conkle. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Joyce & Gary Robinson.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050 on Saturday, November 8th from 2 pm, until the time of her service at 6 pm. The Rev. Linda Corle of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church will officiate and cremation will follow.
