LeBaron Lewis (Barry) – Hookstown (Hanover Twp.)

LeBaron Lewis (Barry) 85 of Hookstown (Hanover Twp.) passed Thursday afternoon, February 20, 2025 at Heritage Valley Sewickley with family at his side. Born March 14, 1939 in Philipsburg, PA., he was the son of the late George and Marion (Rothrock) Lewis.

LeBaron had worked on the ramp with US Airways for over 32 years and drove bus for South Side School district for another 23 years. He was a member of the Frankfort Springs Presbyterian Church.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Ella M. (Conklin) Lewis on April 4, 2019 and a brother in law Ted Przetakiewicz.

He is survived by his children and their spouses, Greg and Sharon Lewis and Tammy and Don Tokar, his sister is Nancy Przetakiewicz. Grandfather of 5 Amanda and Nicole Lewis, Tiffany Condupa, Matthew Tokar and Nicholas Thornton, great grandfather of 1.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA. 15050 on Monday from 3-7 pm, where his service will be held Tuesday at 11 am. The Rev. Kevin Neal of the Mt. Olivet EPC officiating. Private interment will follow in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery; Georgetown. If desired, memorials in his name can be made to the American Heart Association.
