Brett Johnson – Hookstown

Brett Johnson passed away unexpectedly on March 23, following a decline in health. He was 67. Born March 11, 1958, he was the son of the late James Bruce Johnson and Mary Lou (Boyd) Johnson.

Brett grew up in Hookstown and was a graduate of South Side Area School. He sustained a spinal injury at 23 that left him a paraplegic. Brett loved cars – always a Ford man – and especially Mustangs. He shared an interest in John Deere tractors with his dad and they spent many months restoring a Model LA which was later featured in Green Magazine.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sister Brad (infant), Renee (infant) and Jeff.

He will be greatly missed by his brother Clay Johnson and his sister Amy Johnson and relatives and friends, but we know he is in a much, much better place.

Per his wishes, there will be no viewing or service. Arrangements handled by McConnell Funeral Home in Hookstown.
