Thomas R. Harding Sr., 68, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died Tuesday afternoon, February 9, 2016, in UPMC Presbyterian.

Born February 19, 1947, in Aliquippa, a son of the late James Charles and Helen (Vidovich) Harding, he had worked as a steelworker with the J&L Steel Corp., Aliquippa Works, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served as a corporal during the Vietnam War. Continue reading

Patricia L. Robson, 78, of Shippingport, passed away Saturday morning, February 6, 2016, at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born in Rochester, PA, she was a daughter of the late James E. and Anna Mae (Hellman) Russell. A lifelong resident of Beaver County, Patty graduated from Lincoln High School in Midland. She was a member of the Green Valley United Methodist Church. A homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved to travel, especially to visit her children. Thomas A. Barker, 58, of Aliquippa (Hanover Twp.), died Saturday morning, January 30, 2016, at his Hanover Township residence.

Born Oct. 7, 1957, in Rochester, a son of the late Charles D. and Myrtle Lena (Klages) Barker, Tom had worked for the Laborer’s Union #1058 before becoming disabled.  In addition to putzin’ around the house, he was an avid animal lover who couldn’t say no to strays. Continue reading

William A. Tingler, 54, of Georgetown (Hanover Twp.), died Saturday evening, January 23, 2016, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.

Born May 22, 1961 in Weirton, WV, he was a son of the late Leo and Helen (Glass) Tingler. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and raising cattle on the family farm started by his parents; also where he was raised and passed away on. He was employed by Bayer Corp. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our father on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. A 56 year resident of the township of McCandless, following a life well lived at the age of 87. He was born on January 28, 1928, in Trafford, PA. He was the eldest child of the late Ernest and Hilda (Vogel) Blosat; and predeceased by two sisters, Lois Shirey and Virginia Reuter. Rhonda Faye Rockacharlie Cain – GEORGETOWN

June 21, 1964 – December 14, 2015

Rhonda Faye Rockacharlie Cain, of Georgetown, went to be with her Lord and loved ones who passed before her. A native of Indiantown, Florida, she was the daughter of Sanford Charles and Jacqueline Mae St. Clair Rockacharlie.

Overcoming many obstacles and doctors’ predictions, she “put on her Italian” and lived every day as though there would be no tomorrow. She lived a rich, full life, raising two loving daughters as well as graduating from high school early and graduating from Indian River Community College as a medical technician. She made her career in dialysis for twenty years; starting at the bottom, she became the top-rated dialysis tech on the east coast, working in both Florida and Pennsylvania. Continue reading

Matthew James Weekley, 30, of Moon Township, died Saturday, December 12, 2015, at UPMC Shadyside.

Born March 17, 1985, in Barberton, Ohio, he was the beloved son of Michael and his wife Norma Weekley, South Carolina and Lisa and her husband, Bill Kozel, Erie.  Matthew was a student whose biggest passion was computers and earlier in his life he enjoyed soccer and Boy Scouting. Continue reading

Margery H. (Bradford) Houser, of Aliquippa (Raccoon Twp.), died Saturday morning, November 21, 2015, at Friendship Ridge.

Born Aug. 29, 1918, in Stoneboro, PA, she was a daughter of the late Burton Sommers and Byrd (Houser) Bradford.  Margery was a Christian, a homemaker, wonderful cook, skilled woodworker and talented pianist.  On a Sunday afternoon, she enjoyed Chinese checkers, Jacks, Scrabble and other table games with her children and grandchildren.  We will miss our mom but her and dad are having a great reunion.
