Ronald F. Westerman – Hookstown

Ronald F. Westerman, 84, of Hookstown passed Thursday morning, July 20, 2023 under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice, Beaver. Born June 4, 1939 in Pittsburgh, he was a son of the late George H. and Dorothy (Bauer) Westerman. Ron had worked as a machinist and was a member of the Beaver County Bee Keepers Association, the Western Pennsylvania Gladiola Society and was a Master Gardner.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Dave Westerman and his longtime companion Jan Gilmore.

Surviving are his children, Robert Westerman, Linda and her late husband John Juha, John Westerman and Jim and his wife Jackie Westerman. A brother George Westerman and sister Elaine Evans. His step children are Richard, Mary, Jennifer and Jeffrey. Grandfather of 2, great grandfather of 4.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050 on Monday from 2-4 and 6 pm, until the time of his service at 8 pm. Rev. Wilmer J. Olszewski of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church will officiate.
