Pearl O. Morey – Georgetown (Hanover Twp.)
Pearl O. Morey, 85 of Georgetown (Hanover Twp.) passed Sunday, morning January 4, 2026 in the comfort of her home with her daughter’s care. Born October 28, 1940 in Georgetown, she was the last surviving child born to the late Ralph & Leola (Campbell) Davidson. Pearl was well known at “Laughlin’s corners” having worked at The Tastee Freeze, Pat’s Market, Jack’s Diner and drove school bus for South Side Garage.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morey, brothers Kenneth & James Davidson, her sister Betty Growden and her beloved grandson Randy Whipkey.
She is survived by her daughter and her companion Patty Hood & Gary Dunfee, grandsons Jason Hood & Billy Andrews, great grandchildren Jalyn & Gage Hood, and her 2 feline companions Cosmo & Sassy.
Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050 on Friday, January 9th from 2 pm, until the time of her service at 6 pm. Cremation will take place with burial with her grandson Randy in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
