Lynn W. Baker – Georgetown
Lynn W. Baker, 74, formerly of Georgetown, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Celebration Villa of Chippewa. Born on January 10, 1951, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Lester A. and Dorothy E. Leatherberry Way.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Arthur Baker in 2011. Lynn was a faithful member of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church, where she served as the treasurer. She dedicated many years of her life working as a bank teller at ESB Bank until her retirement. In her free time, she enjoyed cross stitching and needlework. She was also involved in many community activities including Shippingport Senior Citizens as well as the Community Benefit Committee. Lynn will be deeply missed by her daughters, Kay Baker (David Snyder) of Butler and Lisa Hall (Troy Dean Hall) of Hookstown;her sister, Marsha Way: of Alexandria VA. and her grandson, Chyne Hall of Hookstown.
The family would like to thank the staff at Celebration Villa and Transitions Hospice for their wonderful care.
Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050 on Sunday, May 25 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Her service will be held Tuesday, May 27, 11 am in the Hookstown Free Methodist Church, 255 Main St, Hookstown, PA 15050. Pastor Olszewski officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. She will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery; Georgetown.
