Janis Lucille (Gloff) (Rouviere) Cain

Janis Cain died peacefully surrounded by family, Thursday March 26, 2026.

Born September 6, 1938, in Sewickley PA to the late August Gloff Sr and Mildred Eaton Gloff.

She was a Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry and Private Duty.

Janis was a longtime member of Hebron Presbyterian Church where she was an ordained Elder, Pianist and Choir member. She was on the board of the directors for the Hebron Hopewell Cemetery and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by: 4 daughters – Terri (Rich) Gazda, Cyndy Smith, Sherrie Sweeney and Michelle (Randy) Wilson, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and brother August (Donna) Gloff Jr.
Janis was preceded in death by her husband Harold Cain, parents, and grandson Garrett Morrow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hopewell Hebron Cemetery, 1771 St Rt 30, Imperial, PA 15126.

A private burial will be held at Hopewell Hebron Cemetery.
