James A. Hughes Jr. – Clinton (Hanover Twp.)

James A. Hughes Jr., 77 of Clinton “Hanover Twp.” Passed in the comfort of his home Friday afternoon, April 4th 2025. Born August 27th 1947 in Clinton, he was the son of the late James A. and Agnes (Brunner) Hughes. James worked as a crane operator with J&L Aliquippa Works, 14-inch division. He was also a veteran of the United States Army serving as SP5.

Surviving is his wife of 47 years Carol A. (Scott) Hughes, his children, Heather Marie Elizabeth Hughes and James A. (Jay) Hughes III. Brother of Dennis and Kathy Hughes. Proud grandfather of 4, Phoenix Rose Hughes, Desmond James Hughes, Essex Shore and Cady Caubaugh.

Cremation has taken place and burial will follow in the Grandview Cemetery, Florence.
