Evelyn M. Telesz – Aliquippa (Raccoon Twp.)

Evelyn M. Telesz, 83 of Aliquippa (Raccoon Twp.) passed Friday morning, February 7, 2025 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born November 27, 1941 in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late William Gregg and Elsie (Moore) McElhaney. A homemaker, Evelyn was a member of the Mill Creek EPC of Hookstown where she served as a Deacon and worked for years with the Kids Club.

In addition to her parent’s, she was predeceased by her husband, Teddy John Telesz on December 2, 2002.

Surviving are her sons, Teddy John Jr. and his wife Georgette Telesz, Thomas R. Telesz and David L. Telesz. Her brothers are Donald and his wife Mary Lee McElhaney, William and his wife Debbie McElhaney and Harry and his wife Kathy McElhaney. Grandmother of 6, Bryan, Chelsea, Hannah, Taylor, Garren and Ava, also great grandmother of 1, Myles.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA. 15050 on Monday, February 10th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where her service will be held Tuesday February 11th at Noon. Her pastor the Rev. Abigail Opal of the Mill Creek EPC of Hookstown officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery; Hopewell Twp.
