Richard K. Rogers – Georgetown
Richard K. Rogers, 70, of Georgetown (Hanover Twp.) died Sunday evening, May 27, 2018, in the comfort of his home.
Born March 19, 1948, in Rochester, a beloved son of the late William Gerald and Goldie (Renner) Rogers, he was a retired bridge inspector with PennDot. He was an avid boater; anything on water he was doing it. He enjoyed summers at Geneva on the Lake, camping, and working with his equipment.
Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Patricia “Trish” (Tuma) Ramsey; a sister, Geraldine Moore, of Florida; nieces, Jennifer and Dave Boling, Julie and Matt Siegel, Jennifer Ramsey and Colleen Ramsey; and two great-nephews and a great-niece, Andrew and Dylan Siegel and Emma Boling.
Family and friends are welcome to call Wednesday at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine Street, Hookstown, PA 15050, from 2 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wilmer J. Olzewski of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church officiating.
Cremation will take place and burial will follow in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
