Kenneth W. Davidson – Georgetown (Hanover twp.)
Kenneth W. Davidson, 81 a life time resident of Georgetown (Hanover twp.) passed Friday evening, February 9, 2024 at Heritage Valley Beaver, with family at his side. Born September 23, 1942 in Georgetown, he was a son of the late Ralph K. and Leola Bell (Campbell) Davidson.
Ken had worked as an electrician in the construction industry with Local IBEW #495, a car enthusiast, he enjoyed working on them and was know as the tin wizard around the valley. He was a life long member of the Bethel United Methodist Church of Georgetown. He was also a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Evelyn Jean (Covert) Davidson, his children and their spouses are Mary Jean and Danny Anderson, Kimberly and Reuben Wilson, Kenneth Jr. and Cindy Davidson and William and Sheila Davidson. Brother of Jim and Nancy Davidson and Pearl Morey. Grandfather of 8, Brandy, Raymond, Brandin, Tiffany, Nicole, Logan, Cameron and Hayden. Great grandfather of 3, Anna-Marie, Bethany and Samantha. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Betty Groden.
Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St. Hookstown, PA. 15050 on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where his service will be held on Thursday at 11 am. His pastor the Rev. Kenn Jacobs of the Bethel United Methodist Church will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery; Georgetown.
