Cynthia Leigh Work – HOOKSTOWN (GREENE TWP.)

Cynthia Leigh Work, 35, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died Sunday evening, February 12, 2017, in the emergency room of Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born February 10, 1982, in Beaver, she was a daughter of the late Richard Work Sr. and Kathryn (Murin) Work.

She is survived by her loving companion, Bryan Marshall, Hookstown; a son, Austin Smith, and daughter, Harley Smith, both of Hopewell Twp.; stepchildren, Matthew Marshall and Melissa Marshall, both of Midland; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard Jr. and Leslie Work, Hopewell Twp., and Frank and Tanya Work, Hookstown; a sister and brother-in-law, Christy and Randy Calhoon, Raccoon Twp.; a granddaughter, Izabella Higley; her in-laws, Ronald and Patricia Marshall, Industry; numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored, and best friends, Amber and Tim Turner and family.

Family and friends are welcome to call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until the time of services at 8 p.m. in the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050. The Rev. Kevin Neal, of the Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
