Charles O. Price – Clinton (Hanover Township)
Charles O. Price, 79, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.), died Monday morning, September 4, 2017, in the comfort of his home with his family at his side.
Born December 30, 1937, in Pine Bank (Greene County), the son of the late Woodrow and Thelma (Roberts) Price, he was a retired shipper with the St. Joe Lead Company, Potter Twp. He was Presbyterian by faith and a peacetime veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Surviving is his wife of 59 ½ years, Lydia E. (Mosley) Price, whom he married February 15, 1958. Also surviving are his children and their spouses, Charles W. and Letitia Price, Florida; Terry and Robin Price, Maryland; and Tina and Robert Smith, Clinton; beloved grandfather of Brian and his wife Taryn Price, Matthew Lightbody, Morgan Lightbody, Dyllan Price, Emily Price, Shaleea and her husband Chris Shields, and Shanna and Andrew Remmington; two great-grandchildren, Cora Shields and Jackson Price; brother of Shirley Price, Chester, W.Va.; Robert W. and Carole Price, Clinton; Margaret Wilcoxen, Chester, W.Va.; Carol and Richard Creese, Ohio; Beverly Baker, Hookstown; Susan and Chan Herstine, Virginia; Vicki and Tom Smith, Ohio; and Patricia and Mark Culley, Georgetown; sister-in-law, Anna Price, Ohio; and brother-in-law, Mark Anderson, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Price, and a sister, Brenda Darlene Anderson.
Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine Street, Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner/Director, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Thursday, September 7, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Jefferson Eillis of the Hanover Presbyterian Church officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
