Willie Wesley Lloyd Jr. – OHIOVILLE BOROUGH

Willie Wesley Lloyd Jr., 76, of Ohioville Borough, died suddenly Tuesday evening, September 17, 2013, in the emergency room at Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born Aug. 8, 1937, in Montgomery, AL, a son of the late Willie Wesley Lloyd Sr. and Allie Dee Wiggins Lloyd, Mr. Lloyd was a retired electrician having worked for the J&L Aliquippa Works.  He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, Georgetown.  He was an avid hunter, raising and selling dogs for hunting and a farmer raising beef for sale.  He enjoyed attending his grandchildren's school events and visiting friends in the neighborhood, walking up and down the street talking to all.  He and his wife loved children so much they fostered over 100 children in over 20 years. But he loved his family the most.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, G. P. Lloyd and a sister, Dorethia Lloyd.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary E. (Marshall) Lloyd, the couple married on Aug. 1, 1970; his children, Tammie and her husband, Jay Mazzei, Balinda Lloyd, Eairly Q. Lloyd, Kalieb N. Lloyd, and Joshlynn T. Lloyd, all of Ohioville; his sisters, Louise  Jackson, AL; Anne Adams, TN and Jorene Webb, AL; four grandchildren, Akeylah J. Lloyd, Joseph S. Mazzei, Katie M. Mazzei, and Bryson A. Lloyd; an uncle, Charlie Wiggins, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to call in the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m.  Paul Blake of the Church of Christ, Georgetown, will officiate.

He will be laid to rest in the Millcreek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
