Susan A. Reckner – Hookstown (Greene Township)

Susan A. Reckner, 63, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died Saturday afternoon, September 9, 2017, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home.

Born July 8, 1954, in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late Paul Sr. and Thelma (Miller) Rambo. A homemaker and an avid crafter, along with her daughter and best friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd W. Reckner Sr., December 14, 2014; a sister, Linda Rambo; and an infant brother, Terry Rambo.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Floyd W. Jr. and Dana Reckner, Georgetown and Suzette and Brad McCarrell, Clinton, and a brother, Paul Rambo Jr., Hookstown and his late wife, Loretta. Also, several grandchildren survive.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine Street, Hookstown, PA 15050, Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at 11 a.m. with her nephew, The Rev. Luke Rambo officiating, assisted by Rev. Donald Snedeker. She will be laid to rest beside her late husband in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
