Sarah V. Law – ALIQUIPPA (INDEPENDENCE TWP.)

Sarah V. Law, 75, of Aliquippa (Independence Twp.), went home to be with the Lord on Friday morning, October 7, 2016, from the comfort of her home.

Born November 30, 1940, in Monaca, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Ida (Tice) McKelvey. Sarah was a Presbyterian by faith and attended the Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church when able. She had worked at the Ellwood City Knitting Mill, was a deputy constable in Pa., and a school bus driver for Beaver County.

She is survived by two sons, Frank Law, and Donald and his wife Melissa Law, all of Aliquippa; two brothers, Roy “Bud” and his wife Cathy McKelvey of New Castle, and Matt McKelvey of Florida; a sister, Nancy Hudson of Ellwood City, and her seven grandchildren, Rebeka, Rachael, Noah, Tommy, Devin, Dontae and Zach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Evan, and her former fiancé, Bernard Zlatovich.

Family and friends are welcome to call Monday, October 10, 2016, from 11 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. in MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050. The Rev. Kevin Neal, of Mount Olivet Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Cremation will follow.
