Sandra Kay Moore Rybacki – Hookstown (Hanover Twp.)

Sandra Kay Moore Rybacki, 74, of Hookstown (Hanover Twp.), died Wednesday afternoon, November 22, 2017, in UPMC Shadyside. 

Born April 18, 1943, in East Liverpool, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Smith David and Anna Jeanette (Rogers) Hayward. Sandy was a retired beautician having worked out of her home for many years and also retired as a home health nurse. She attended the Hookstown Free Methodist Church and was a member of the Raccoon Women’s Club in the Senior Citizens Group of Shippingport. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Robert T. Rybacki, on February 28, 2016, and a sister, Bonita Jean Johnson. 

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Lisa Moore, Hookstown; Terry and Kimberly Moore, Georgetown, and Casey and Cassie Moore, Georgetown; stepchildren, Phillip and Karen Rybacki, New Mexico; Robert Rybacki, Clinton; Colleen and Ron Hickman, Ohio, and Debbie Gurule, Coraopolis; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Keith Bussard, Industry, and Trudy and Richard Chapala, Center Twp.; seven beloved grandchildren also survive.

Family and friends are welcome to call Sunday from noon to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, where services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Wilmer J. Olszewski of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church officiating. She will be laid to rest in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
