Ronald C. Williams – HOOKSTOWN (GREENE TWP.)

Ronald C. Williams, 79, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died Wednesday afternoon, February 24, 2016, at Friendship Ridge, Brighton Twp.

Born June 15, 1936, in McKees Rocks, he was a son of the late William Bill and Kate (Wagegozki) Williams. He had worked as a high-lift operator for Gravel/Aggregate Company and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. A Greene Twp. supervisor for over 16 years, he was instrumental in getting a traffic light installed at Routes 168 and 30.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Dinardo; two brothers, and two sisters.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Jorjann (Hacker) Williams of Hookstown; his stepchildren, Tom Floyd of Hookstown and Theresa (Ray) Plance of Aliquippa; a brother, Jim Williams of Austria; two grandchildren, Christy Bruce and Chaz Bruce, and two step-grandchildren, Cody and Callie Plance.

A memorial gathering will be held March 13, 2016, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Hanover Volunteer Fire Department.
