Richard William Wright – Rochester

Richard William Wright, 51, of Rochester passed unexpectedly Friday, August 11, 2023 at his Rochester residence. Born December 2, 1971 in New Brighton, he is the beloved son of Mary A. (Bucci) Manning of Hookstown and the late William M. Wright. In addition to his father, also predeceased by his step-father Thomas E. Manning, Sr.

Richard enjoyed fishing, boating (especially pontoon boats), a lover of music he enjoyed playing the drums, and was an avid Steeler and Penguin’s fan. And held a special place in his heart for animals.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Jason and Carrie Wright, his step-brother Thomas E. and Alexandra Manning, Jr., a niece and nephew Katie and William Wright.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050 on Wednesday, August 16 th from 4 pm, until the time of his service at 7 pm. Pastor Tom Knowles of the Christian House Baptist Chapel will officiate. Cremation will take place with burial to follow in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery; Georgetown.
