Nancy L. Allison – CLINTON (HANOVER TWP.)

Nancy L. Allison, 79, of Clinton, (Hanover Twp.), died peacefully Wednesday evening, September 21, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospice with family at her side.

Born July 22, 1937, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late John and Helen (McGown) Doerr, she was a homemaker.  Nancy enjoyed bingo and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Raymond Work and Floyd E. Work; two brothers, John and Michael Doerr; two sisters, Helen Savin and Jean Lipcomb and a grandson.

Surviving are her children, Randy P. Work, Dale W. Work, Dorene K. Finney, and Stacey J. Smith; two sisters, Ruth Blonski and Anna Gough; grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 17.

Services were held Thursday, September 22, at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050.  She was laid to rest in the Hookstown Cemetery.
