Mildred I. Hall – GEORGETOWN

Mildred I. Hall, 80, of Georgetown, died Friday morning, May 5, 2017, at Fox’s Stone Pear Pavilion, Chester, W.Va.

Born October 28, 1936, in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Sumner and Katherine (Brooks) Greenwood. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a retired payroll clerk having worked at the Crucible Steel Co., Midland, and was also a member of the Hookstown American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elden C. Hall; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Richard and Faye Greenwood, and Albert “Bud” Greenwood; a sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Joe Weber, and a brother-in-law, Denver Loy.

Surviving are her son and his better half, Brad Hall and Jill Durbin, Georgetown, and a sister, Doris Loy.

Family and friends are welcome to call Sunday, May 7, 2017, from noon until the time of services at 4 p.m. in the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, with Rev. Wilmer J. Olszewski, of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church, officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
