Mary E. McCoy – ALIQUIPPA

Mary E. McCoy, 79, of Aliquippa (Hanover Twp) died Wednesday afternoon, January 18, 2012, at Heritage Valley Sewickley surrounded by her family. 

Born November 29, 1932, in Clinton, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Margaret (Devitt) Inglefield.  She was the beloved wife of 60 years to R. John McCoy, Sr., whom she wed June 22, 1951. She was a member of the Hanover Presbyterian Church. 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children and their spouses, Robert and his wife, Debi, McCoy, Georgetown, Dennis and his wife, Judith, McCoy, Winterville, NC, Raymond McCoy, Williamsburg, VA, Marsha and her husband, John Andzans, Broad Brook, CT and Beverly Russell, Milford, DE and her late infant son, David McCoy.  Also surviving are two sisters, Eileen Kennedy, Rochester, and Flora and her husband, William, Fulton, Greenville, SC. Also surviving are seven beloved grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends and family are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine Street, Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner/Director, on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held Sunday, January 22, 2012 at 2 p.m. in the Hanover Presbyterian Church, 2462 State Route 18, Clinton, PA  15026.  Her pastor, the Rev. Jefferson Ellis, will officiate. Everyone please meet at church. Interment will follow in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mary's name to one's favorite charity will be greatly appreciated.
