Mary E. Lloyd – INDUSTRY (OHIOVILLE BORO)

Mary E. Lloyd, 68, of Industry (Ohioville Boro), died Saturday evening, May 17, 2014, in the Greenery Specialty Care Center, Canonsburg, with her family at her side.

Born January 28, 1946, she was a daughter of the late William Q. and Sarah (McElhaney) Marshall. A homemaker, she was a 1965 graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Erie. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Georgetown; TOPS Group, Shippingport; Red Had Ladies Society, and My Quilt Group of Enon Valley. Along with her late husband, Willie, she had fostered over 120 children through the years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Willie Wesley Lloyd Jr., who passed September 17, 2013, and two sisters, Martha Wyrich and Nellie Mae Marshall.

Surviving are her children, Tammie and her husband Jay Mazzei, Balinda Lloyd, Eairly Q. Lloyd, Kalieb N. Lloyd and Joshlynn T. Lloyd, all of Ohioville; her siblings, William and his wife April Marshall of Oregon, Lou Anne Borkowski of Pittsburgh, Joseph Marshall of Cleveland, and Leah Marshall of New York; a brother-in-law, Timothy Borkowski of Erie; four grandchildren, Joseph S. Mazzei, Katie M. Mazzei, Bryson A. Lloyd, Akeylah J. Lloyd, and one on the way; four dear friends, Lori, Glenda, Ruthie and Judy, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Friends and family are welcome to call Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director, where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with Paul Blake, of the Church of Christ, Georgetown, officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her late husband in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
