Martha M. Mayhue, 88, Aliquippa (Raccoon Twp.), died Monday evening, June 8, 2015, in the emergency room of Heritage Valley Beaver.

Born April 9, 1927, in McGuffey, Ohio, the last surviving child born to the late Freed and Ora (Hackworth) Ziegler.  A homemaker, she was an avid baker, creating many wedding cakes in her time, enjoyed quilting, sewing and raising greyhounds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert A. Mayhue; two brothers, Roy and John Ziegler and a sister, Jean Beers.

Surviving are three daughters and sons-in-law,  Pamela and Steve Petrella, Raccoon Twp.; Peggy and Duane Kunzmann, Raccoon Twp. and Patsy and Scott McKnight, Chester, WV; two sisters-in-law, Helen Ziegler, East Liverpool, OH, and Marla Ziegler, Lewisburg, TN; her six grandchildren, Rhonda Hoover, Stefanie Petrella, Rachel (Brian) Woolsey, Michael Kunzmann, Stacy McKnight, and Brian McKnight; her nine great-grandchildren, Austin Searfoss, Alexander Searfoss, MiLeigh Ford, Kayla Ford, Cameron McKnight, Cody McKnight, Taylor McKnight, and Benjamin and Nathan Woolsey and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner-Director, Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held Saturday 11 a.m. with Tom Lombard officiating.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.
