Martha G. Stroud – Shippingport

Martha G. Stroud, 89, of Shippingport, died peacefully in the comfort of her home on Wednesday evening, August 2, 2023. Born May 28, 1934 in Florence, she was a daughter of
the late Arthur Stuart and Vernie (Wilson) Emler. In addition to being a homemaker, Martha had worked as a seamstress out of her house for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Arthur Wayne Stewart, a brother William Jay Emler and her sister Audrey Neeley.

Surviving are her son’s and their wives, Leonard and Lana Stewart and Thomas and Rona Stewart. Grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 7.

Cremation will take place and interment will follow in the Robinson Cemetery; Bulger, Pa. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Professional services provided by the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050.
