Louis V. George II – Aliquippa (Hopewell Twp.)
Louis V. George II, 82 of Aliquippa (Hopewell Twp.) passed Sunday evening, November 19, 2023 at the Allegheny General Hospital; Pittsburgh. Born July 10, 1941 in Sugar Creek, Pa. He was a son of the late Louis V. George I and Thelma Geneva (Owens) George. Louis was a United States Navy Corpsman Retired, a graduate of Quaker Valley High School, class of 1961, his biggest joy was spending time with his family, reading his bible and building lego models.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou George in 1999 and a sister Elaine.
Surviving are his children and their spouses, Christy and Matthew Swearingen, Victor and Michelle George and Michael Travis, his step-children are Charlotte, Terrie, Betty and T.J. Brother of Dennis and Stephen George, Nancy, Mary and Jessica. Grandfather of Samson and Milo Swearingen and 14 others.
Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050 on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. EVERYONE IS ASKED TO MEET at the Mt. Olivet EPC, 4128 Route 151, Aliquippa, PA. 15001 on Saturday November 25, 2023, where his service will be conducted at 11am. Rev. Kevin Neal will officiate. He will be laid to rest in the John Anderson Memorial Cemetery, Aliquippa with full military honors. Members of the Beaver County Special Unit are asked to meet at the cemetery Saturday by 12:15 pm to conduct honors.
