Lois F. King – Georgetown

Lois F. King, 79, of Georgetown, died Sunday morning, April 22, 2018, at Washington Commons, Bridgeville, with family at her side.

Born June 12, 1938, in Pittsburgh, she was a beloved daughter of the late John and Mildred (Schmidt) Conlon. A homemaker, she was a retired custodian for the One Source Company at the Pittsburgh International Airport and also retired from the Gateway Rehabilitation Center in Center Twp., where she had worked as a cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel W. King, on Februrary 21, 2014.

Surviving are her daughters and their spouses, Donna and the late Don Boucek, Delaware; Noreen and Jim Pugh, Georgetown and Johnette and Steve Kobaso, Bridgeville; a brother, Thomas Conlon, West Mifflin; a sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Joe Steiner, Coraopolis; grandmother of five and great-grandmother of two.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until time of her service at 7 p.m. Rev. Wilmer J. Olszewski of the Hookstown Free Methodist Church, officiating.

Cremation will follow and entombment, along with her husband’s remains, will take place in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies Columbarium, Bridgeville, Pa.
