Linda Kay Bender – MONACA (CENTER TWP.)

Linda Kay Bender, 67, of Monaca (Center Twp.), died suddenly Thursday, January 15, 2015, at her Center Twp. home.

Born March 18, 1947, in Rochester, she was the last surviving child born to  the late Robert and Dolores (Bruckner) Bender. She was also preceded in death by brother, Paul Bender.

Kay had worked for HHM Insurance of Moon Twp. as an agent for 20 plus years. She then became an independent real estate agent for Howard Hanna Real Estate of Beaver County. There, she became an award winning sales associate being a consistent million dollar producer. Kay was an avid baker, home decorator and seamstress. She enjoyed antique shopping, entertaining, cooking, baking and being with friends and family. Kay was one of the most caring and giving individuals to touch our lives and she will be greatly missed by all those she cared for. Her clients and colleagues looked at her as an eloquent professional.

Surviving are a cousin, Paul Bruckner of Bonny Doon, CA, and the Summers family of Monaca.

Friends are welcome to meet at the Beaver Cemetery Chapel, 351 Buffalo St., Beaver, PA 15009, on Friday, March 13, 2015, where her services will be held at 1:30 p.m. She will be laid to rest along with her parents and brother in the Beaver Cemetery.
