Larry Swaney – Beaver (formerly of Hookstown)

Born February 24, 1943, in East Liverpool, Ohio, he was a son of the late John Hall and Geraldine (Lemon) Swaney. Larry was a 1963 graduate of South Side High School and was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan.

Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Duane and Linda Swaney of Beaver, a niece Lori & her husband Joseph Tharp and a nephew Jason & his wife Desiree Latchaw, also great nieces and nephews survive.

Family and friends are welcome to call Sunday from noon until the time of his celebration of life at 2 pm., at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa. 15050. Martha Schartner, Director of Discipleship of the First Presbyterian Church of Beaver will officiate. He will be laid to rest privately in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery Georgetown.
