John Walter Weber – CLINTON (HANOVER TWP.)

John Walter Weber, 76, of Clinton (Hanover Twp.), died unexpectedly of natural causes on Friday evening, May 29, 2015, around 9:50 p.m. in his home on Weber Road.

Born June 23, 1938, in Clinton, he was a son of the late Edward A. and Mary Margaret (Leonard) Weber. He was a retired mill worker from J&L Steel and was a member of the Imperial Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Margaret Louise (Preston) Weber, on August 28, 2011, the couple were wed on October 21, 1957; a brother, Alvin Weber; sisters, Jane Weber and Alma Keiffer; a stepsister, Loraine Jodikinos, and stepbrothers, Charles, Delbert and Ed Marshal.

Surviving are three sons, John A. Weber Sr. of Greensburg, Glen A. Weber of Monaca, and David M. Weber of Clinton; three daughters, Lori A. Koon of Florida, Martha J. Kirkland of Clinton, and the late Diana L. Weber. Also surviving are grandchildren, Robert John Koon, Justin Koon, Brandan Weber, Joshua Weber, Glen A. Weber Jr., Amber Koon and Sara Elizabeth Kirkland; two great-grandchildren, Addisyn Heron and Brock Heron, and a sister, Mae Weber Anderson of Bulger.

Family and friends are welcome to call Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine Street, Hookstown, PA 15050, Daniel M. McConnell, Owner/Director, where his funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. His Pastor Angela McAfee Kress will officiate. He will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown, PA.
