Joann Estel – Monaca (Raccoon Twp.)

Joann Estel, 77, of Monaca (Raccoon Twp.) died Monday morning February 1, 2021, at the Providence Care Center; Beaver Falls. Born October 12, 1943, in Rochester, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Helen (Belich) Shaffer.

She is the beloved wife of Terry L. Estel, cherished mother of Heather and her husband David Nelson of Aliquippa, and Therese Estel-Pupi of Boston, MA.. Sister of Matthew ‘Sonny’ and his wife Evelyn Shaffer of Hookstown and Dale and his wife Toni Shaffer of Chester, W.V. and Marion Floyd of Monaca. Grandmother of two, Madison and David.

Family and friends are welcome to call at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME 447 Pine St., Hookstown, Pa 15050, on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm where services will be held Friday at 11 am. Rev. Richard Herbster of the Mt. Pleasant EPC will officiate. She will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery. It is asked that visits be brief, masks be worn and to observe social distancing measures.
