Jeffrey Clay Staley – FORMERLY OF GEORGETOWN

Jeffrey Clay Staley, formerly of Georgetown and most recently of Weirton, WV, died Sunday, October 13, 2013, in his Weirton residence.

Born Oct. 8 1960, in Weirton, WV, the beloved son of Jack L. Staley of Georgetown and the late Carol Ann (Pelter) Staley, who died July 16, 2007, he had worked as a truck driver in the shipping industry and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

In addition to his father, he is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Dianne and David Gayhart, Patterson Twp.; a niece and nephew, Alexis and Chad Gayhart and two great-nephews, Trevor and Tyler Gayhart.

Cremation will take place and he will be laid to rest in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery, Georgetown.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
