James Dwight Parker – RACCOON TOWNSHIP

James Dwight Parker, 65, of Aliquippa (Raccoon Township), died Monday evening, April 22, 2013, in the comfort of his home, with his wife at his side.

Born April 21, 1948, in Shawnee, OK, a son of the late Ira William and Ruby Mae (Stultz) Parker, he worked as a mechanic in the automotive industry throughout his life and just loved working on cars. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served during the Vietnam War.

Surviving are his wife, Morag (McGregor) Stevens; four daughters, Caroline, Tracy, Diana and Monica; two brothers, Richard, Pauls Valley, OK and Roy, Dixon IL; three sisters, Karen, Dallas, TX, Donna May, Harwood Heights, IL, and Mary Parker Konkler, Poulsbo, WA; 11 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Linda Parker.

As per his request, cremation will take place and burial will be in Pohls Valley, IL.
