Harry Lee Dykes Jr. – Hookstown (Greene Township)

Harry Lee Dykes Jr., 58, of Hookstown (Greene Township), died unexpectedly on Wednesday evening November 22, 2017, in the Emergency Room of Heritage Valley Beaver. Born November 21, 1959, in New Kensington, he was a son of the late Harry Lee Dykes Sr. and Mary (Mator) Dykes.

He was an assistant manager with Penndrill Manufacturing Co., McKees Rocks.  An avid drag racer, he enjoyed working on his cars with his friends and for years was at the Friendship Raceway, Smithfield, Ohio, every Saturday.

Beloved husband for 16 years of Mary (Fichter) Dykes of Hookstown.  The couple were married September 1, 2001.  Father of Harry Lee Dykes III of Hookstown, Angela Dykes of Hookstown and the late Jessica Dykes; stepfather of Nicole Cersosimo of Rochester, Tammy and Mike Ulizzi of Coraopolis and Tanya and Sean Price of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother of Paul and Kim Dykes of South Hills and Barb Dykes of Georgetown; and grandfather of Peyton Dykes.
