Harold R. “Butch” Heizler Jr. – HOOKSTOWN (GREENE TWP.)

Harold R. “Butch” Heizler Jr., 80, of Hookstown (Greene Twp.), died Thursday morning, June 18, 2015, while in the care of Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born October 31, 1934, in Wheeling, WV, he was a son of the late Harold R. Sr. and Gladys M. (Cowan) Heizler. Mr. Heizler had worked as a millwright with the Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp., Aliquippa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Bill and Daniel Heizler.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Barbara Ann (Smith) Heizler; his children, David Heizler, Robert and his wife Gloria Heizler, and Dale and his wife Susan Heizler; a brother, Brian W. Heizler, and two sisters, Barbara A. DiGennaro and Romaine Michaels. Also surviving are four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

There will be no visitation or service. Cremation will occur with burial in the Mill Creek Hill Cemetery.
