H. David Fleming – Shippingport
On Oct 4, 2017, H. David Fleming passed away peacefully at Ellwood City Hospital, Ellwood City, Pa. from brain disease. He was 66 years old.
Dave graduated from Hopewell High School in 1969. He became an operating engineer, heavy equipment operator with Local 66, Monroeville, Pa. in 1975, retiring in 2013. He built, owned and operated Fleming Mobile Home Park, Hookstown, Pa. He was one of four founding fathers of the Western Pennsylvania Triumph Association, and had built over 32 sports cars. His love for faith, family and community was paramount in his lifetime. Dave belonged to the Shippingport Voluntary Fire Department.
He was the son of Harry and Ann Fleming, Aliquippa, Pa., and leaves behind his beloved wife, Kathy Fleming, Shippingport, Pa.; five children, Stacey Fuchs (Bob), Aldie, Va.; Sondra Fleming (Matt), Chantilly, Va.; Rachelle Ulizzi, Gilbert, Ariz.; Ryan Fleming (Sarah), Lower Burrell, Pa. and Haley Brody (Mike), in California; one sister, Susan Daniel (Keith), Clinton, Pa.; Aunt Wanda Foringer, Shippingport, Pa. He had eight grandchildren, Justin Ulizzi, Heather Ulizzi, Brandon Ulizzi, Cole Fuchs, Shane Fuchs, Erika Fuchs and newest little ones, Ellie Fleming and Jonathan David Fleming.
Family and friends are welcome to call Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the MCCONNELL FUNERAL HOME, 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, (724) 573-9511, where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. with his son-in-law, Mike Brody, officiating. He will be laid to rest in Beaver Cemetery, Beaver.
